I'm a CELTA qualified teacher with more than 13 years experience teaching students of all ages around the world, both in classrooms and online. In recent years I've specialised in teaching English in high schools as well as helping students prepare for the IELTS exam with a focus on improving speaking and writing skills. I've also helped students who are moving abroad, professionals with business English and also individuals who are soon to have a job interview.

I've been lucky enough to travel to more than 50 countries and previously I've worked as a professional DJ, a stage manager at international music festivals as well as working in the social housing sector in the UK.

In my spare time I love listening to music, watching films and documentaries, supporting my beloved Tottenham Hotspur as well as cycling and swimming to keep fit.

I firmly believe in creating a relaxed and fun learning environment for my students; nobody does their best when they are nervous or uncomfortable! Furthermore don't believe any teacher that says learning English (or any language) is easy, but it doesn't have to be hard work! The trick is to turn it into work you enjoy; it's important to find what interests, inspires and motivates you and then focus on these things when learning English.
